Joaquin Phoenix attacks heckler in Miami

While performing at a Miami nightclub, Joaquin Phoenix jumped into the crowd and attacked a heckler.

According to the press, he began rapping to a beat played by the DJ and nodding to the music, although most of the lyrics were unintelligible. Then he responded to someone who appeared to be heckling him in the audience near the stage. Meanwhile, this was all being record by Casey Affleck, who's making a documentary of Joaquin's jump from acting to the HIP/HOP music scene.

I think this is definitely a publicity stunt, he's created a character much like Andy Kaufman's "Tony Clifton" for this docudrama that's being filmed.

at this rate Joaquin is more likely to break into the comedy scene than the hip hop scene
