DWTS Perfect Score for Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke

Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke wowed the judges and audience with the Argentine Tango. The dance was filled with intricate footwork, passion and sensuality, earning them the first set of perfect scores of the season.

Carrie Ann Inaba said, “Wow, I can’t feel my face. Am I still here? Holy cow, jeez Louise. Ok, but on a serious note, honestly, I could not tell who was the professional and who was the contestant.”

Gilles is a French actor from Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. He began his career as a model in his early 20s. One of his first jobs was a TV commercial for Bud Light. He made his acting debut at the age of 29, in the 2005 horror flick "Screech of the Decapitated".

He is most well-known for playing the role of Dante in Sex and the City: The Movie. Gilles has been seen on television in "Ugly Betty," "Dirty, Sexy Money," "Criminal Minds," "Windfall," and in several soap operas including "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "Passions." His recent film credits include "One and the Other (L'Une et L'Autre)," and "The Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down."

He has a wife, Carole, a son, Georges, and a daughter, Juliana.

DWTS Blonde and Blonder

Tonight it was the Blond vs. Blonder show down. Denise and Holly went head to head in a dance-off to try to stay on the show one more week. Which was good because I've been thinking that both Holly and Denise are an even match and I haven't been able to decide which one is worse.

They both have no rhythm and look incredibly stiff and ungainly on the dance floor.... Cloris Leachman has better moves than these two.

Well, after two horrible Sambas the results were revealed and Denise Richardson and her partner Maksin Chmerkovskisy were given the boot.

DWTS

Last night, DWTS kicked off it's first show. My favorites were:

Shawn Johnson
The youngest competitor on the show (she's 17), she an Olympic gymnast. Shawn is incredibly cute, and sweet, and of course, I loved watching her at the Olympics- she is truly talented. I'm sure she'll have a large fan base to keep her till the end. She earned a 23 point.

Gilles Marini
The hot French actor from Sex and the City movie earned the night's top score of 24. Gilles was the best male dancer, the other guys didn't impress me too much and of course he is definitely really good on the eyes. Women all over the nation will make him a sure bet for the finals.

Melissa Rycroft
She was signed on at the last minute because Nancy O'Dell injured her knee, the Bachelor reject impressed judges dancing a waltz, earning a score of 23. Melissa did better than I thought she would- she really has grace and elegance, and is enjoyable to watch.

My prediction for the first elimination: Steve Wozniak or Ty Murray (cowboy)
both danced awful and I'm not sure how large of a fan base they have.

I am looking forward to an exciting season 8.
