DWTS Perfect Score for Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke
Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke wowed the judges and audience with the Argentine Tango. The dance was filled with intricate footwork, passion and sensuality, earning them the first set of perfect scores of the season.

American Idol: Adam finally blew me away!
Adam Lambert was criticized last week for being a bit too over-the-top with his strange, almost creepy rendition of "Lake of Fire", but Adam proved with last night's performance that he is the one to beat.
With his his quiff type pompadour and gray suit, Adam bore a strong resemblance to Elvis. His interpretation was smooth, tender, and impressive, and it was definitely the best performance of the night. It earned a standing ovation from guest mentor Smokey Robinson, who originally performed the classic song with the Miracles in 1965.
Simon - “It was THE best performance of the night. You tonight really have emerged as a star.”

DWTS Blonde and Blonder
Tonight it was the Blond vs. Blonder show down. Denise and Holly went head to head in a dance-off to try to stay on the show one more week. Which was good because I've been thinking that both Holly and Denise are an even match and I haven't been able to decide which one is worse.
They both have no rhythm and look incredibly stiff and ungainly on the dance floor.... Cloris Leachman has better moves than these two.
Well, after two horrible Sambas the results were revealed and Denise Richardson and her partner Maksin Chmerkovskisy were given the boot.

Hideously Cute Newborn Babies
If one feels the need of something grand, something infinite, something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a little baby when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shining on its cradle.

Brooklyn's Own Chocolate Factory
After reading an article in the NY Times about Mast Brother's Chocolate, I began to crave a piece of really delicious, beautifully packaged chocolate.
About two years ago the Masts were trading truffles for beers at a local bar. Now Mast Brothers Chocolate has a national following as one of the few producers in the country, and the only one in the city, to make chocolate by hand from cacao beans they’ve roasted. Read Full Story

Book: A Lion Called Christian, by Anthony Bourke
I saw this video today for the first time and I have to admit, it brought tears to my eyes, it's so touching...... I can't wait to read this book.
The story is about two Australian men John and Ace, who bought a lion cub from Harrod's in London in 1969, they raised it,and then took it to be released into the wilds of Africa when they realized that they could no longer keep him. A chance encounter with Bill Travers and Virginia McKenna led to a new life for Christian.
In 1971, he was flown to Kenya and returned to the wild by lion-man George Adamson. Almost a year later in 1972, John and Ace returned to Kenya and it is there where their reunion with Christian took place. They were told that Christian wouldn’t recognize them...watch the video and see what happened!!

Yummy Chocolate Cake
I am a big fan Ina Garten and a bigger fan of chocolate, so I had to try this recipe. This cake is wonderful...it's chocolately ,moist, and the buttery frosting is amazing. It's perfect with a big glass of milk.
Try this recipe, it's not very complex and definitely a cake you'll want to make again.
